David Kuboň

Lawyer David Kubon is co-founder and managing partner of KLB Legal. Prior to founding KLB Legal, lawyer Kubon led the international in-house team of lawyers and compliance officers at WOOD & Company Group, the largest investment bank in Central and Eastern Europe. For a period of five years, he was head of the legal department of the Patria Finance Group, a member of the KBC Group. He has worked for leading Czech and international law firms, including Wolf Theiss. Lawyer David Kubon is a leading expert in the field of capital markets, investment management and financing transactions. In the course of its 20 years of activity, it has been involved in a number of significant transactional procedures, including some of the largest issues of Czech shares admitted to trading on the Prague and Warsaw stock exchanges (IPOs), the issuance of corporate bonds and warrants, the creation of one of the first SICAV funds in the Czech Republic, commercial financing on foreign markets, and the financing of complex real estate projects through fund structures. Lawyer Kubon is also involved in representing clients in cases of damaged shareholders of Volkswagen AG (Dieselgate case). He is a member of PEOPIL and the GJN, the Czech Bar Association, and the League of Lawyers.
